Can suppliers make use of the verification tolerances when declaring the values of their product parameters?

All Ecodesign regulations include an Annex that describes the procedure of verification of compliance by market surveillance authorities and sets the tolerance  margins for the relevant parameters of the product which can be used by Member States authorities. These tolerance margins shall not be used by the supplier as an allowed tolerance margin for declared values. The declared values and classes on the label or in the product fiche shall not be more favorable for the supplier than the values reported in the technical documentation.
