It is currently not in Commission's plans to develop and make available a testing tool for the EEI calculation under Regulation (EU) 2023/1669 (we had worked on a pilot app to test this concept, but the period of the pilot test expired). This might change, in case more stakeholders would be asking for it (for the time being, we only received very few requests).
All the information on the type of parameters/references to be used in the testing can be found:
- under Regulation (EU) 2023/1669, Annex IV
- at the link https://ec.europa.eu/docsroom/documents/ 50214, referenced in the same Regulation
- considering the standards ‘samples’ (video, audio, etc.) available on the Commission website: https://circabc.europa.eu/ui/group/418195ae-4919-45fa-a959-3b695c9aab28/library/01c3b805-a11f-4805-a2c6-99ea88936a5e?p=1&n=10&sort=modified_DESC
Such an application might be developed in the framework of the preparation of the dedicated standard for testing the EEI parameter (to be developed in the upcoming months/years by the European Standardisation Organisations).
