EU Energy Day at the Hannover Messe

Between 22 and 26 April 2024, the European Commission will, for a third continuous year, be present at the Hannover Messe, which his one of the world’s largest industrial fairs. 

Launched on 23 April, a voluntary EU Code of Conduct for manufacturers aims to ensure interoperability of home appliances, contributing to a greater demand-side flexibility of households. This would help achieve a more stable and optimised power grid. 10 manufacturers commit to develop interoperable connected products within 1 year.
