This requirement means that electric local space heaters must be equipped with a control that meets the requirements for seasonal efficiency defined by this Commission Regulation before the first start-up. The operating instructions for each type of electric local space heater must explicitly state which functionalities the heating system regulation must meet and the heating system must not be put into operation without meeting these conditions.
